    • The Reformed Homeschooler I’m almost done with my undergrad and want to become a PA but things like that have zero effect on my stomach. I am able to talk about dissections and watch surgeries and still eat. It’s not so much having a strong stomach, but being able to “desensitize” yourself to it. Don’t view it as cutting into someone or sticking someone but look at it as your job that needs to get done. I find that as a helpful bit of advice.

    • @Winter D So to on to a PA program in the UK you need a Bachelors and then you can choose to do a PA program that is either a Masters or a Post Grad Diploma. I'm just coming up to the end of my training and yes, I can tell you it's HARD but there's also nothing quite as rewarding either so it's worth it.

  • I always shed a tear everytime I thought of becoming a doctor and entering medicine. Because for me, I am not that smart in everything I do. It’s a lot of hardwork if I pursue medicine, because of my social status also. It is just sad for my part. But I’m happy that you’re sharing these kind of videos. Helping me to stand on my ground and just don’t mind everything that’s bringing me down. I hope that I would become a doctor someday and a great med stud/resident as you are. Thank youuu ❤️ I would definetly, pursue medicine because it is what my heart desires. ❤️❤️❤️

    • Medical school is not for those who can't get past slowness by the time they start, or the uncertain, or the soft hearted - it is for the strong minded and the strong hearted, because of how you'll need to adapt yourself. Now, the thing anyone who has the privilege to see the truth and world around you in an educated mindset knows that intelligence is not fixed - when it is, it doesn't matter, it is developed - not doing it well is called lack of intelligence but those that cant do it. Whether it be time, not good enough of an application, work life, not being worth it for you, or not having the desire or persistence - the US is lucky to have the PA profession to assist the doctor's duties. The fact is that in many cases of low social status, it can be overcome by loans(all the time, and with a profession that pays like PA, it can be paid off - eventually) and if you show some promise, which isn't difficult - scholarships/grants.

    • You can do It! I believe in you!

      The QThe QHace un año
    • Dear if you really want it you will get there... I guess your potentials and motivation is way more important than being smart especially in medicine, since only being smart without having a passion for it isn't enough at all and it wouldn't be satisfactory not in a single way... And no one's social status is a reflection of their dreams or who they end up being in the future... Just keep striving and one day you are there practicing this great medical career... Stay strong and persistent as you are dear
